Privacy Note
This note explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use this website. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell it.
The mailing list
If you subscribe, we collect your name, email address and (optionally) your country, so we can send you occasional news about the book. Sign-up uses double opt-in — you'll receive a confirmation email and are only added once you click the link inside. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. Our newsletter is managed by Buttondown, acting as our data processor.
Comments
Comments and reactions on journal posts are powered by Giscus, which stores them as GitHub Discussions. To comment you sign in with a GitHub account, and your comment is public. Comments are moderated.
Analytics & cookies
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which writing readers enjoy — only after you accept via the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics load at all. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Just email notnowdearIGMT@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
